Greetings
Thank you for welcoming us into your inbox this quarter! As we dive into 2025 (and the whole “Happy New Year” greeting gets a bit old), I want to pause and express my gratitude for your support in 2024. Whether we connected through a conversation, LinkedIn, email, or any other way, it’s your trust and engagement that keeps Kora Insights thriving. 2024 Highlights
We had an amazing year working with our clients, and we’re thrilled to share some of the milestones from 2024. We partnered to strategize and execute:
A Health Equity Conference in New York and New Jersey with Symphonic Capital
An Ecosystem-Building Conference in Maryland with EcoMap Technologies
A Founders' Summit in California with top institutional investors with Collective Global
But the real joy for us? Hearing feedback from Kora event attendees!
“I’ve never talked to so many new people! Great job facilitating conversations across different groups.”
Symphonic Capital Health Equity Conference Attendee
“The venue was stunning—perfect balance of accessible and serene.”
Collective Global Summit Attendee
“This event was an incredible opportunity to connect with others passionate about ecosystem building. I’ve never been to anything like it before!”

Lessons Learned in 2024
We’ve learned a lot from creating tailored events for investors and ecosystem builders, and we’re excited to carry these insights into 2025. Here are three key takeaways for anyone planning an in-person event:
A 'Wow' Factor – Pick a location, topic, or experience that taps into people’s desire for meaningful connections—both professional and personal.
Effective Strategy – In-person events should feel worth the investment—do your research beforehand to ensure event activities and topics are neither redundant nor out-of-touch. Ensure attendee time is respected, and business objectives are clear both among your team and, where appropriate, with attendees.
Quality Community – Focus on bringing together the right people. Quality over quantity every time. If you can, provide attendees with the list of others joining before the event to spark pre and post-event engagement.
Are We a Good Fit?
Do you know a mission-driven investment firm (venture capital, family office, etc.) that could benefit from our event design and execution expertise? If so, we’d love to meet them! We’re likely a good fit if:
They need external support in order to advance specific business objectives
They’re planning events with budgets of $80K+
They’re looking to plan 6-12 months in advance
They want to strategically gather 50 or fewer professionals
How are you?
How’s 2025 shaping up for you? I’d love to hear from you and catch up. Here is a link to my calendar, or feel free to respond to this email with updates.
Thanks for being part of our community. Until next quarter!
With gratitude,
Constance Thurmond
