Kora Insights 2.0
When I started Kora Insights in 2022, my mission was to equip entrepreneurs with the tools they need to create lasting social and economic change.
Over the course of the years, I offered a range of programmatic consulting services to nonprofits, startups, and entrepreneur support organizations that included exploring new channels for business development, revising entrepreneurial curriculum, and creating marketing materials and communications for multifaceted social innovation projects. Along the way, I obtained a certificate in data science and analytics to incorporate data-driven insights into my consulting practice, complementing my sales and operational experience.
Throughout these projects, my work increasingly involved looping in Venture Capitalists. The organizations I worked with wanted to identify them, attract them, and harness their expertise to service entrepreneurs or products whose market niche would benefit from this unique form of private equity financing.
As I began to consistently engage VCs, I realized that many of them were extremely entrepreneurial and resourceful independently of the companies they invested in, raising millions of dollars from LPs, identifying aligned entrepreneurs from a sea of talent, and creating an operational backbone to support it all. I was impressed by the range of experience many of them carried, from having started their own companies to unique subject matter expertise.
In a world where capital from VC is often regarded as a crucial benchmark for success, legitimizing a product, founder, or geographic area, I noticed a critical gap. What service provider was supporting them? Who could a VC turn to if they needed to talk to an AGM (Annual General Meeting) expert, connect select founders in their portfolio companies to phenomenal talent, or meet LPs outside of oversubscribed conferences and one-off networking events?
After aggregating data from our on-the-ground AGM event strategy and execution support, VC Platform, and analyzing hundreds of hours of conversations with emerging managers, platform experts, and VC-backed entrepreneurs, I am thrilled to announce Kora Insights 2.0.
We’ve created two new offers for VCs and LPs, revolving around this simple truth:
Strong communities drive outsized returns.
When investors play an active role in shaping the entrepreneurial ecosystems that they fund, everybody wins.
We exist to ensure this takes shape methodically and intentionally to accelerate fundraising timelines, modernize fund operations, and ensure aligned capital gets through the door so VCs can focus on what they do best: identifying and supporting remarkable entrepreneurs.
For LPs, we provide a trusted pipeline of emerging managers, streamlining their access to high-impact allocators whose work aligns with a proven 12-signal performance framework.
Having access to a Head of Community, Event Strategist, and Head of Investor Relations should not be a luxury only a few funds can afford.
If we know comprehensive platform support leads to better fund performance and healthier managers, entrepreneurs, LPs, and entrepreneurial ecosystems, let’s make these services accessible to as many investors as possible.
